ICC and PT Enerfusion Technology Indonesia Visit Muhammadiyah 1 Vocational School Jakarta to Strengthen Collaboration between Education and Industry

Jakarta, June 19, 2026 – The Indonesia–China Center for Education and Industry Cooperation (ICC) and PT Enerfusion Technology Indonesia visited SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Jakarta to discuss developing cooperation in the education sector and strengthening ties between the educational sector and industry. The meeting discussed various collaboration opportunities, including the development of solar panel technology and Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers, as well as plans to bring in teachers and experts from Chinese companies to support the learning process and knowledge transfer in electric vehicle technology. Furthermore, the three parties also discussed aligning the school curriculum with the needs of the industrial world. This step aims to ensure that SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Jakarta graduates have competencies relevant to company needs, thus preparing them to compete and meet the ever-evolving demands of the workforce. On this occasion, the ICC and PT Enerfusion Technology Indonesia delegation was also invited to tour various practical facilities at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Jakarta, such as the automotive and electrical engineering practice rooms. The group also observed the solar panel system implemented within the school, a product of the students' work and innovation. Through this visit, ICC, PT Enerfusion Technology Indonesia, and SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Jakarta hope that the previously discussed collaboration can soon be realized through various concrete programs. This collaboration is expected to strengthen synergies between education and industry, develop superior human resources, and produce internationally competent graduates ready to face global challenges.
